High-Temperature Resistant Materials
High-temperature resistant 3D printing materials are suitable for applications where components are exposed to high temperatures for extended periods or short durations. They retain their dimensional stability and mechanical properties even under high thermal stress, enabling their use in demanding technical environments.
Typical applications include industry, mechanical engineering, and fixtures and functional components with increased temperature requirements. High-temperature-resistant components are used, among other things, for test fixtures, tools, housings, and components that must withstand heat from friction, process heat, or external heat sources.
High-temperature-resistant printing can be implemented using both SLA and FFF processes. Depending on the application, materials such as High Temp Resin, ASA, or PPS CF are used, which are characterized by their high temperature resistance and good mechanical properties.
